Thank You, CR!
As some of you know, Chris leads the worship for a ministry at our church called “Celebrate Recovery”. It is a 12 step, Christ centered recovery program for any and all sorts of addictions or negative patterns you may have in your life. He has been doing this since the group started up at CFC over three years ago almost every monday night.
Tonight was his first time back since before Logan was born and the group surprised him with a card and a gift. We just wanted to say to those involved in CR, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. It was a very pleasant surprise.
While we are on the topic, we want to send out a thank you to all of you who have blessed us with gifts. We hope we are able to return the blessing some day.
Belly Button
Well, Logan reached a very important milestone in his life today. . .
His umbilical cord, or what was left of it, fell off today. Yea, i can hear it now, ewwwww.
Well, we are going to save it in his scrap book. . . . just kidding, that would just be gross. But we are excited, it means that we can now give him real baths instead of sponge baths. Which is pretty difficult with squirmy, screaming, soapy wet and naked infant.
Weekend Update
Logan also had another significant occurance in his life this past weekend – he went on his first outing (other than to a relatives house, or church). We took him to, of all places, Walmart. Its a good thing we own stock in walmart because we spend so much money there. Anyway, we got pictures taken of him there (as if we don’t have enough ourselves), which will actually end up being very cute. Logan was quite cooperative.
We also took him to Dutch Way Grocery store which has a restaurant in it, that April used to work at. It has great, low cost food, both at the restaurant and grocery store. For instance, we got a 10 lbs bag of boneless, skinless chicken breast for $.99 a pound. Granted this was a special but still. . .
Anyway, Logan was well behaved the whole time. Everyone that saw him was in awe of him.
Then on Saturday night, we took him to Cactus Willy’s Steak Buffet in Lancaster to meet up with April’s sister Christy, along with her Mom, Dad and sister Reneé. And do we have pictures of any of this, of course not. Oh well.
Once again, Logan was well behaved. And lastly, April’s grandfather, Logan’s Great Grandfather, Steve and his friend Phylis came by on Sunday to visit. We enjoyed the visit and Phylis had a great time meeting Logan.

A Surprise Gift . . .
Y’all may or may not know, but April’s birthday is coming up. Chris ordered her a very special gift that will be here sometime before her birthday (shhhh its a secret. Well, the gift, not that he ordered it). He is so excited about it. He may not be able to wait to give it her. We will see.
Check back later for more updates.
