The LaGarde Family

Well, after many, many hours of running around and many many mishaps and fixing of things (cars, jet skis, etc.)- we are about to head off on vacation!

Please keep us in your prayers as this is the first time we are traveling LONG distance with Logan- we should be leaving soon and then taking a 12-14 hour car ride to Canada- OH the fun we shall have- we will be back in a week and can’t wait to share our fun and I’m sure not so fun times with you all- there will be many many firsts this week and we are so excited!

My cousin Aaron and his new wife Kristen got married this past Saturday, in a BEAUTIFUL out door wedding- everything went great and we all had a BLAST despite the heat- CONGRATULATIONS you two we love you! Aren’t they so cute! There was some crazy happenings- check out the pictures on our photos page- we will fill you in more when we get back!

Back a few years ago, I took to calling Chris “poopy pants”- there was no reasoning behind it beside the fact that it isn’t the greatest of nicknames, and Chris hated it… I always tried to remember not to call him that in public, just because well you know it’s not really very nice- well, one night we were out at the gym doing weights and without even realizing it I called Chris “poopy pants” in front of at least 5 or 10 people. Poor Chris was soooo embarrassed and swore revenge…

Well, revenge came a few days ago, but instead of Chris getting me~ his son did it for him! Logan’s new nickname is now~ “Logan poopy pants Jr.”

So here is the story: The other day, Logan and I went out to the New Moms Coffee Talk that Calvary runs, it was a “day at the park”~ Logan and I arrived late (like usual) and Logan slept thru all of it until there was only 3 of us ladies left, so the 3 of us decided to eat lunch and hang out with our babies. Logan woke up half way thru me eating and wanted out of his stroller, so I picked him up and gave him a bottle and then just let him sit on my lap while us ladies were chatting away. Next thing I know- there is poop all over the front of my shirt and all over Logan’s back. Needless to say Logan had explosive poop and in one single swoop (or should I say Poop) got me back for calling Chris “poopy pants”! I didn’t have any change of cloths for either of us, so Logan ended up in his bathing suit and I ended up wiping the poo off and just smelling like poop for the rest of the afternoon… AND I had errands to run so I was out in public- people must have thought that I never shower OR that I am a bad mother and don’t change my baby, cause something that smells that bad- needs changed right away… aaah, the joys of motherhood, I am sure this isn’t the last time Logan will embarrass me, so I guess I should get used to it… Chris thought it was funny and even though it was so nasty that day- sooner or later I will be able to look back and laugh…. (I hope)

Chris is in Boston this week, well Monday thru Thursday, and since he left, Logan has been very fussy- since this isn’t normal, and he isn’t here to defend himself, I blame it on Chris leaving us!
