Fun Fun Fun
Lets be honest, you all don’t really care about Chris and I, you really just want to hear about Logan… so here is what Logan has been doing in the last week…
He is now greeting us standing up in is crib in the mornings and after nap time, it seems like now that he has conquered crawling, it isn’t enough, he wants to stand and walk… Yesterday, I caught him standing up by the couch and he wanted to get down and get a toy, but he didn’t know how to- he knows how to get up, but he doesn’t know how to get back down… Goofy boy… He stands next to anything he can get his hands on- he has taken many tumbles. I am trying to figure out how to make him know I am there to comfort him when he is hurt, but at the same time, not make him a cry baby…
We had a play date this week with Missy and Aubrey O’Malley and Jen, Maddie, and Jake McLaughlin- Logan and Aubrey are crawling all over each other, if one had a toy the other one wanted it, if Aubrey was standing next to the couch, Logan used her as a climbing tool to standing up next to the couch. It was so cute. Aubrey is getting so good at crawling and she is more steady on her feet than Logan is, she’ll be walking before we know it and Logan will be trying to keep up… In a few months Jake McLaughlin will be crawling after these two and Aubrey and Logan will be running after Maddie… What fun it is to have friends who have kids close to the same age…
By the way we have family that has asked not to be mentioned on our web site so if you also would not like us to mention you please just let us know…
Our new pictures are up- there are tons of him crawling- there is proof that he wants the dog food, and many many more…
He is eating a TON of baby food- he would eat us out of house and home if we let him I think… here is one face we got when we tried to feed him squash… silly boy…
Last night we went to the Green Dragon Flea Market- it was a first for me and Logan, but apparently Chris was there once before. My Grandpop Steve took us so that we could try the soft shell crab sandwiches, but by the time we got there after everyone got done work, they were closing up, we did end up getting them, but they weren’t batter dipped and apparently that is what makes them good, so that was interesting, after we ate we walked around the out door market and we saw a little bit of the small animal auction (scary), they had some fun stuff, some funny stuff and then there was some really good stuff. We were outside and I didn’t know we were going to be outside the entire night and didn’t dress him or myself appropriately (silly mommy)
Tomorrow night Dam-ma and Pop-Pop LaGarde are coming over to see us, we haven’t seen them in a few weeks- we can’t wait…
As for things to come, we got Logan’s first halloween outfit- Uncle Nick and Aunt Tatiana found it for him and although I want to say so badly what it is- I can’t it needs to be a surprise for halloween! But I can say that it is the most perfect outfit ever- thank you so much Uncle N and Aunt T, your the best! I can’t wait until halloween- its way more fun to go trick or treating now that we have a kid, all we have to do now is find an outfit for Chris and I for cheep or free…
