Tomorrow (Friday) is my (chris) grandma’s birthday. I am a bad grandson, in that I think it is her 85th, but I am not sure. I am really ashamed to admit I don’t know it, but i feel it is important to wish her a happy birthday. I would also ask that everyone pray for her. She had a tumor on the back of one of her legs, and it has been found to be cancerous, and because of that, they are going to have to amputate her leg. Needless to say, that isn’t great news to hear on or close to your birthday. April, Logan and I love you, and will be praying for you.

Its what little boys do- I think it is so funny that Logan has started it already.

its not nice to sit on daddy
Last week I caught these pictures of Logan wrestling Chris.

Pretty much Chris just lays there and Logan crawls all over him and Chris makes grunting sounds and acts like he is pinned his arms flail all over and Logan giggles and giggles.

I love my boys- who wouldn’t smile when they see their boys playing together so nicely =)

Chris and I started a LaGarde Family Tradition the first Christmas we were married. I was SOOOO excited that finally I could have a christmas tree all of my own. Excitedly Chris and I went out to my grandfather’s Christmas tree farm and started to look for the PERFECT tree… A while later we found just the right one and Chris got down in the mud (it had just rained) and started sawing away. Well, 5 or so minutes later he was still sawing. He got so angry and mad he made me go get a blanket and finally (what seemed like hours later) he got it cut down. From that point on Chris has had a BAD attitude about getting our Christmas Tree- so even though that was 4 years ago, he is still so grumpy about going to get a Christmas tree!

Even to this day if you ask him about getting a Christmas tree he is still bitter.

This year we met up with my cousin Aaron and Kristen who are newly weds and they seemed to brighten his spirits! We walked down into the field and there stood our “perfect” tree- shining in the clear, crisp, December air- I swear it sparkled at us. We cut it down in record time and had it in our car ready to go before Logan freaked out.

Oh how fun it is to take the baby and have him join in on the Christmas fun!

That night when Logan went to bed, Chris and I decorated the tree and it is BEAUTIFUL!

We knew it would be hard to keep Logan’s little grubby hands off the tree and it was! The next morning right away he high tailed it into the family room and immediately had two or three balls off the tree and my entire string of (fake) cranberries. I had to fix it, but boy did he throw a fit when I took away all of “his toys” =)

We hope you are having a wonderful Christmas time!
