SUMMER TIME!!!

FINALLY it is feeling like spring- this is what we did yesterday in the nice weather…

“How to have fun on a hot sunny day”  by Logan LaGarde

First you immerse yourself in COLD water- with your juice cup…

Then you get naked, and paint the street with chalk…

Then you paint your self with chalk,  then happily hop down the street…

and of course there are those who would rather happily sit on the side lines and smile at your silly friends…

Logan your so funny!!!!

How ya been?

I know we haven’t posted in a while so let me update you… Lots has been going on and we just haven’t been able to keep up…

BROTHERS
Here are a few pictures of the boys together- they have FINALLY noticed each other ;)

Logan and Grayson on the floor playing together.

Logan and Grayson on the couch- I made Logan give Gray kisses ;)

I know poor baby, but isn’t this what every mother does to her youngest- lets the older ones hold him in a VERY uncomfortable way… Logan was really not that interested in holding grayson, but I asked him to and he complied- it was very nice- soon Grayson will be bigger than Logan and Gray will be holding Logan on his lap – haha!!!

LOGAN

We went back to the ear specialist at the beginning of April and they tested Logan’s hearing- he can hear much better and they said that everything looks great. I accidentally saw a report from Logan’s first visit and on the paperwork it labeled Logan’s condition as severe- I was sort of taken by surprise, but REALLY happy we had him checked out and that the tubes are working. Since the operation, Logan has been able to hear much better and has been talking more and more, but he is still not quite where he should be, so the Dr, suggested we have a speech therapist come and test him- the consultation was this morning and they will be here testing him on Tuesday- it is a free service so we are doing it and seeing what they have to say- we are praying everything is on target, but know that if its not we will have so much support, we aren’t even worried about it. It upsets me that there might be something wrong with my baby, but in the scheme of things speech is a SMALL thing compared to what some other two year olds are going through…

He is growing so BIG I can’t even believe how huge he is now- I love his age, everything but the fits, but other wise he is such a wonderful little boy… He loves to explore and loves, loves, loves ALL animals- even ants!

He is very mischievous! He is going none stop- and you have to keep an eye on him at all times- the other day I moved some furniture around and before I knew it he was standing on the back of a chair and changing the channels on the tv… His most favorite thing to do is COLOR so if the crayons are on the table he will get up there and get them and then want to color, well the other day he found a pencil and a crayon and drew on the walls- so now he is only allowed to color in his high chair… he keeps me on my toes that is for sure…

GRAYSON

Grayson is growing like a weed- at his check up on April 10th he weighed 11 lbs 13 oz!!! wow!!! He is in the 50th percentile for everything. The Dr said he looked great!

Hes been sleeping through the night since 5 weeks- he sleeps from 11 at night to 7 am, then he eats hangs out with daddy is extremely happy for a little while and then goes back to sleep until 9 or 10… I am SOO happy with his routine.

Gray is very smiley and LOVES to be held- he is a gassy baby and seems to cry and be upset from 7:30 to 8:30 every night the Dr. said its a very slight form of colic, so even though it sounds bad its nice to know its just something we can’t fix. I have started to try to get him to sleep around that time so he isn’t as fussy so the last few night hes been sleeping from 8:30 to 10 and then away and happy then back to sleep at 11… Its nice to have a routine- to know what he wants and needs and how to help him/ fix the crying…

THE FAMILY

I am loving having both kids- its hard work and I can see how if I let my self I could go nuts trying to keep the house clean or the kids clean, and things perfect, but I am doing my best to stay level headed and organized- I have figured out that life with two kids and a husband requires a girl to be VERY organized, esp. if I want to EVER leave the house ;)

Chris is doing wonderfully as a father of two- balancing work and family time is difficult when you work in realestate but he is doing an excellent job and he helps me out as much as he can- he is such a blessing to all of us- realestate is sort of slow, and trying to drum up business is hard, so if you know of any one looking to buy or sell their house please keep Chris in mind…

A happy family is but an earlier heaven… ~ unknown
