Canada Again
Yes, we are writing about Canada again…
This year has been a rough one for us, with Chris taking on real estate and not being home much and having Grayson join our family- he of course he is a piece of work and since we haven’t had much family time, we decided to take another week of vacation and go up to Canada again…
Here are a few pictures from the week, but to be honest we didn’t take many pictures this time- well to be perfectly honest we didn’t do much of anything at all this time- our plan was – Monday= do nothing, Tuesday= do nothing, Wednesday= think about doing something but do nothing, Thursday= nothing, Friday= do nothing and pack to come home and that is exactly what we did.
Some friends of ours the Purtells came with us and we had a wonderful week of “Nothingness”
Seriously I think we picked one of the most beautiful places in the world to do nothing…
Gray crawled around and got in the way of the other two kids…
He was cutting teeth and was miserable so Poor Matt and Melissa learned that we aren’t exaggerating when we talk about what it is really like to live with gray
but isn’t he stink’in cute!!! Good thing too
Logan and Chris became expert “outdoors men” seriously how cute are they…
Logan learned how to fish off our dock- I ran down to take a few pictures “before he fell in” I was kidding- well, a few minutes after I left them to their “men time” Logan actually fell off the dock – he was soaked from head to toe and crying, he of course wasn’t hurt just scared, and we hoped he would learn a lesson- but no he didn’t and he feel in at least one other time that week… Oh well, boys will be boys
Here he is “casting” well trying to cast, but of course he is only two so he couldn’t figure it out so he would swing the rod, and then hit the release button and the the real would unwind, but it would end up falling right into the water by his feet
Apparently when Chris caught a fish and they tried to show it to Logan he freaked out- so maybe he will be more of a non-fisherman like his mommy, than a fisherman like his daddy…
Our neighbor up there Chuck Roper took Chris and Matt out one day for 4 hours of “Manly Fishing Fun” – and Chris must have had the magic touch that day cause he caught 6 or 7 fish while Matt didn’t catch any and Chuck caught one…
Our other neighbors ate the fish for you animal lovers out there they didn’t die for nothing
I leave you with a few nature pictures- we just LOVE how beautiful it is up there you feel so close to God its so special being up there surrounded by all of his creation!!!
