Memorial Day is a day we are to remember those past and present who fought for our country, some gave more than others, but they all gave something!!! Every day we take advantage of the freedom each and every soldier has fought for and on this one day, ONE day, we remember them… I think that is sad…

Everyday, I remember my fallen hero, and those whom I know, who are fighting for our freedom… I hear the  song below on the radio all the time and I LOVE it, it makes me think of Brandon every time I know he would have loved this song and the last verse is the best one, I put it in bold… I hope you all think and pray for all the soldiers who are fighting for us right now, there are a few whom I know and love putting their lives on the line and I really appreciate it! THANK YOU To all the US. armed forces I thank you today and everyday for all of my freedoms!!!

Since Brandon died 3 years ago, I have been planning on buying and flying an American flag, but we have so many rules in our community, I can’t hang one on our house so these little flags will have to do until we get a new house!!!

Chicken Fried by the Zac Brown Band

You know I like my chicken fried
Cold beer on a Friday night
A pair of jeans that fit just right

Back in the beginning of April our friend Missy took us too the zoo because she had a pass and could get us in free, it was the best trip to the zoo I have ever had- TONS of fun- THANKS O’Malleys!!!  Here are a few of my favorite pictures:

Logan it was chilly that day and a little cloudy so we bundled up but by the afternoon it was warm and sunny

Grayson in the “tree house” part in a giant dino egg- he sooo didn’t like it… He freaked out and was miserable for most of the time we were in this part, but by the end warmed up to things and started enjoying himself…

Logan Loved it!!! he was in heaven he threw a fit when we decided it was time to leave…

aunt missy offered to get Logans face painted so we chose Spiderman it was the cutest thing I have never seen Logan sitting so still in my entire life… He loved it!!!

there were these high school girls there that day and we kept running into them and some of them had their faces painted too sort of like Aubreys, well, Lgan loved them and decided they were his friends and started talking to them and acting like they were his buddies it was so cute… then they started calling him spidy ha ha it was fun!!!

Logan now uses all the sayings I use and all the nicknames… So, I hear Logan say (with my inflection) “Aw, Buddy!!!” or “Hey, Gray Gray” or “Graython” (supposed to be Grayson) I think its so cute they love each other and so far are becoming fast friends

Grayson has been pretty good since getting tubes in but has been grouchy lately because he is getting teeth in… ICK I hate teething I feel like all they do is teeth!!! he has taken on this crazy laugh, its loud and shrill and cute in the beginning but can drive you crazy!!! He has also taken to SCREAMING if he can’t figure out a toy, if logan takes a toy, if he wants a toy that logan has, if he doesn’t get his way… pretty much for ANY reason at all he Shreaks! I think the terrible twos have hit early… He now has a will of his own and he does not like to be punished… I think we might have a semi strong willed child here

He is so stinking cute though and when he is happy he is super happy so that makes it nice, but when he is upset- look out! :O

So as I said in my last post boys are never fully potty trained, but Logan is doing SUPER!!! he hasn’t had an accident in weeks (now that I say that he will have an accident tonight ) and only wears diapers/ pull ups for sleeping and even then only wets some of the time!!!

BUT LESSON LEARNED THE HARD WAY- pay attention moms of boys

The other day, we were at church about to leave and go to the park when I realized I should prob. have Logan go potty first… so we ran to the closest bathroom, there was already someone in a stall so we ran to the biggest one since Grayson was with us and I wanted to have space to move… there wasn’t a step stool since we were no longer in the children’s wing… So I quickly sat him up on the potty which he is not used to since he always insists on standing like daddy… well, before he even gets situated he starts to pee… all over my jeans… Immediately, I hear him say “Aw Buddy!!!” he took the words right out of my mouth All I could say was “Seriously!!!” and then laugh … the woman in the stall next to me must have thought I was crazy! Lesson learned: always stand to the side of a young boys sitting on the potty :/ ha ha
