The LaGarde Family

The weekend before last we went out on the boat with Family and Friends, and the first thing that happened was Grayson FREAKED out!!! screaming crying throwing tantrums!!! Oh it was horrible!!! All I could think was “great this was a mistake” but once we got the boat moving, grayson went from Sad to Glad!!! we turned his frown upside down… He loved it here are some really cute pictures of Grayson/ all of us on the boat…

we stopped and played in the water at the sand bar, and the boys had a blast!!!

For those of you on Facebook this will be a repeat but I wanted to record it for us to remember…

This was my conversation with Logan this morning when we got down stairs…

Me: “Logan, I want you to sit down and eat some yogurt”

Logan: “Well, howbout marshmallows?”

Me: “No, yogurt”

Logan: “well, howbout crackers, mommy?”

Me: “Um, No buddy yogurt”

Logan: “well, howbout fruit snacks?”

Me: (now getting slightly frustrated)”No, Yogurt!!!”

Logan:”I know… howbout yogurt?” (said like this was a brand new idea)

Me:”um, ok”

Logan: “YOGURT!!! OH BOY!!!” (said with the most delight you could imagine)

Hahaha He cracks me up- he has been doing this all the time lately… sometimes, I’ll ask him what he wants for snack and he’ll start out with the most outrageous thing like… “howbout ice cream?” so I’ll say no then he’ll move on to something like an ice pop and so on till he finds something I’m ok with… its funny, I think he thinks he’s manipulating me

Some other cute things he has been saying lately are:

“10,9,8,7,8,9,10 BLAST OFF!!!!!!!” (he has his rocket all ready and it starts shaking and then it blasts off and shakes and quakes and then it shoots through the air) its so cute he Always seems to forget he’s counting down at 7 and starts going back up… if you help him remember he does pretty well at counting backwards…

“Mommy, this is a B (or any letter) and it makes the uh sound! and this, this is a Z and it makes the uh sound…. And Mommy, this is an H and it makes the uh sound…” he was telling me all the letters and they all made the uh sound… once we started to correct him he is starting to realize they all make different sounds… It was so cute though…

I was cleaning up the other day and found something that needed to be thrown away, so I handed it to him and said, “hey Logan can you throw this away for me?” and he turned took it and said “Sure  can” ha ha ha so funny… how did that silly boy learn that??? what a goof!!! I just love it… I need to record all the funny things he says in a book it would be fun to look back on some day 

A few months ago we were at the McLaughlins and there Logan learned how to climb trees and he hasn’t stopped, its his new favorite hobby!!! If you check out the McLaughlin’s blog (their link is to the right) you will see Jake (Logans buddy) in a tree also… They are all boy!!! And sooo cute Well, they are cute until they fall out of the tree and break every bone in their poor  little body…

As you can see he is pretty high up- Pop Pop put him up there but don’t worry he was right there to catch him if he fell

he was so proud- its so stinkin cute!!!
