Grayson is almost 8 months already and I feel like all I do is complain about him- so I thought I would write a quick post saying how wonderful he is, give you an update on him and show you some REALLY cute pictures of him…

Grayson has been crawling for over a month now- he is now into everything but he is SOOO happy to be able to get around and follow me and his brother around it is sooo stink’in cute… He loves to make noise, if there is a toy that makes noise he will shake it and play with it forever… He babbles and screeches… He adores Logan and will follow him around trying to take the toy Logan is playing with…

He has the best smile and can bring you sunshine on a rainy day- when he smiles his eyes light up and you can’t help but fall in love… Grayson has the best personality and he seems to love everyone- all the old ladies always come up and pinch his cheeks and say hello and he always gives them his biggest warmest smile. They LOVE it… The other day an older man stopped me in the store to talk to Grayson and Logan popped up from the back of the cart and started saying hello and trying to get the guys attention- its nice to know that Logan isn’t our only cute kid

Today I was in a store and someone who knew Chris said to me- WOW he looks like a mini Chris, and than went on to tell me how much she loved Chris and how she thought he was so special! That made me so proud and warm inside. I am hoping and praying that our boys not only look like Chris but act like him too- Chris IS special and so warm and loving, he is a GREAT provider, the best daddy and man of my dreams- I hope my daughter in laws will be able to say the same thing about my sons

Grayson is teething and it seems like the poor kid hasn’t had a break for a few months now- the top two front teeth are making an appearance- I can see both sneaking through, but for some reason they are taking their sweet old time about it and the poor kid is miserable. I was told once that the teething that babies do is so painful that adults would not be able to handle it. So I totally understand the constant crying. When the Tylenol is working and he is feeling pretty good he usually ends up sleeping because he is soo tired from being up in the middle of the night and all day in pain that he falls into a deep sleep…

He has been taking his long nap in the morning which is a problem for me since I am at church 3 days a week and he ends up missing that nap- BUT he is excellent for the nursery staff when we are there- he crawls around and tries to keep up with all the other kids its so cute!!!

Grayson loves to eat- boy does he love his food!!! Now that he has gotten a taste of baby food he is no longer as interested in the bottle. I think he likes feeling grown up and I also think he LOVES the different tastes. We are now on Stage 3 foods and he LOVES the meat ones, we have a bit of a routine, he gets a fruit at lunch, and a meat and a veggie at dinner… Plus he loves his stars and veggie wheels…

Grayson is a bit of a scared-D-Cat- if the dog barks or if there is a weird noise, he freaks out and cries and cries until I pick him up- I know its a little annoying now, but I am hoping that it means he will be easy to discipline??? who knows, but that is my hope

Gray is so wonderful and such a blessing to us… We are so thankful for him and we are just praying that he would feel better soon, it stinks that the first 8 months of his life he has been in pain- first from the gas and now from the teeth- poor little fella…
