It’s been a while for daily slices, and it’s not that anyone cares, but, here we go:

- Here is a very interesting article on Wired magazine of all places entitled:” The Bible doesn’t say Christian couples can’t enjoy sex or sex-tech”. It would be interested to see what you all out there think about what he says. . .

In more apple news, Apple sold over 125,000 movies on iTunes in 1 week. At an average of $12 a pop that is at least $1.5 mil. Hmmm, do I see other movie studio’s jumping on board?

A new division of Fox Filmed Entertainment will target Christian audiences. FoxFaith has struck a deal with major theater chains to release several of its films, most of which are relatively low-budget projects based on best-selling books (from relevantmagazine.com)

A Louisiana man is drilling for oil in his front yard in an effort to cash in on high gas prices. He’s not even sure if there’s oil under his property, but he thinks it’s worth a try. “I’m not trying to prove anything,” he said. “I’m trying to make money.” Ahhh, the American dream . . .(from relevantmagazine.com)

Yesterday, Apple upgraded their entire line of iMac’s to include intel core duo 2 chips, as well as the addition of a monster 24″ model. Now, this comes on the heels of their confirmation of a big announcement scheduled for Sept 12th, which the invitation is entitled “Showtime. . .”. Many have speculated that the iMac upgrade would be announced then as well, but I guess they
have more exciting and important news to announce next week.  Oh goody goody. . . .


Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, the actor who plays Mr. Eko on Lost, was arrested over the weekend for driving without a license and disobeying a police officer. In case you’re counting, that’s the ninth Lost cast member to be cited or arrested in a traffic-related incident … (also from relevantmagazine.com)
