Logan is now crawling for real!

Today he started real crawling! He is growing up way to quickly! Here is the video of him crawling- he is so funny- aren’t kids the greatest toy ever?

Congratulations Renee!

My (april) baby sister, Renee, got her drivers license last Thurs. Man do I feel OLD! I remember almost 10 years ago going to get my license and I was just as nervous for Renee as I was when I took the test 9 years ago! Congratulations Renee!

Logan and I took Renee to Frazer last Thurs. it was rainy and it took FOREVER to get there we were late and we had a few crazy mishaps (like almost loosing her permit- out the door while we were driving) but we made it in one piece- Poor Renee had to take her test in the rain, but she did wonderful and although she was scared to death- passed on her first time! Then we went to visit the fluffy zoo animals at the frazer zoo- bad idea, now she wants all the puppies we saw there…

We are so proud of you- now you can come and babysit when ever we need you! woo hoo!

We are such bad parents - logan loves baby einstein and sometimes we let him fall asleep on the couch, watching it. Just like this time before we were leaving for church on a sunday morning.

it has been a while since i, chris, have written something of substance about our little family. so here goes. . .

Weekend 1


Of course, this starts out with our “Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad weekend” where Logan was in the hospital with meningitis. Of course we wrote all about earlier. Feel free to go back and read about it.

Weekend #2:

This was labor day weekend and you would think our weekend was a relaxing one. For the most part it was, but it still seemed like we were running around. Sunday was the Boyes family picnic. For some reason we were late but logan looked so cute in his little hoody. Then afterwards we went to cousin briana’s house and hung out til about 11. Logan was SOOOOO tired.
The next day we went to my parents house. That was so late, but still, we were kinda running around.

Weekend #3

This was the busiest. Saturday, April ran out to the church to help set up for the Young Marrieds Ministry’s (YMM) kick off party. Then, we had a family/friends BBQ to go to. Close friends of our family’s the Oksala’s and the Lloyds and my family get together once a year, and this year the Oksala’s hosted. They made a wonderful dinner.
Of course Logan was the star of the party and he was so mellow and well behaved. Everyone was so impressed. Around 8:30, april was mentioning how he hits a wall at some point and just throws a fit because he is “done”. Right as she was finishing that, he hit that wall, so we decided to head out.
Then we went to the YMM kickoff party. Logan slept in the car and for a bit at the party, but eventually woke up. When we got there, they were just starting their “newly wed’s ” game, which we do every year. Congrats go out to matt and sarah peeler for winning this year!
So we stayed until that was wrapped up. Needless to say, Logan was ready to go home.

Then today, we had church, then we went to my parents house to hang out with them and my brother nick and his fiance who were up. THEN after that, we had to go out to Strasburg for the annual kepiro family reunion. Now it is 10:25 sunday night, and our weekend is through.

Overall this weekend was good, no hospital, lots of family, and hey. . .

the Eagles won.
